Lt. Generals Moore and An were the two opposing battlefield commanders at Xray (14 – 16 Nov, 1965). In Nov, 1991 they met at teh PAVN Defense Ministry in Hanoi to discuss the battle.Both parties tape recorded the discussions.

Galloway, Moore, and Sr. Gen Chu Huy Man discuss the Ia Drang Battles in 1991 in Hanoi. Man was the overall PAVN commander of the division sized force opposing the 1st Cavalry Division in the Central Highlands.
