Rick Rescorla at Xray.  In 2001 as the Vice President of Security for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, he lost his life supervising the evacuation of the World Trade Center Tower 2. He disregarded the guidance from authorities to stay in place and ordered an immediate evacuation – getting most of his people out of the tower.  He lost his life checking floors to ensure all had left.
