Bob Holland:
The guy at the far right, back to the camera & closest to the
gas tank is CPT Jimmy Person (or Persson). I think the guy
furthest from the camera and just left of Jimmy is me. Jimmy
flew into Falcon late in the afternoon the day before this
picture was taken. He was delivering a code book. While there
the LZ was mortared and they got his ship. We worried all night
wondering if he was all right. Didn't find out he was OK until
almost daylight. I went and picked him up later that morning.
The only people that had flak jackets around there were pilots
and crew members. Jimmy always wore gloves when flying and he
was African American. I can't identify the other 3 people.
